Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the difference between clinical services and communication training? â€‹

Clinical services are healthcare-focused interventions designed to address specific disorders, impairments, or disabilities related to speech, language, or voice. Clinical services are typically based on a medical diagnosis, and treatment often involves a structured, evidence-based approach to address these conditions.

Communication training is focused on enhancing communication skills, typically for professional or personal development, rather than treating a medical condition. Communication training is often more educational or coaching-based and targets individuals who want to improve their communication abilities for non-clinical reasons.
